One of the biggest scams in our opinion is the rising cost of gas on holiday weekends. Isn’t it amazing that no matter what is going on, when those holidays arrive where folks like to travel and be with their families that the prices always go up? Then, right after everyone gets back from traveling, those same prices drop back down (usually only a little as it seems the oil companies keep wanting to break their own profit records)
The biggest duh is that nothing is done about it to begin with!
Where are all the alternate fuel cars?
With the internet and the vast array of connections available to people, why doesn’t some of these big corporation let more people work at home (when feasible of course with the job requirements)?
Why don’t folks that live close to the places they work or shop at ride bikes or lord forbid… walk?
It’s in our opinion here that if we all as consumers quit shelling out all the money for the gas to begin with, and use the other available options that those oil companies just might get out of their rich duh clouds and get a clue!
Well, one store sure figured out how to increase sales … (yes people.. that is sarcasm there
)
Drug caches found in Home Depot vanities
The Home Depot seemed to have a few extras in the newly purchased cabinets … a variety of drugs and in no small amounts either.
What’s the serious duh here? I would imagine whoever was supposed to intercept the drugs at the warehouse has probably said “duh” a few times by now huh? lol
The result of all of this? I’m willing to speculate on higher costs of cabinets… be it the extra secruity of inspections or even the possibility of a “bonus” by some consumers
As mentioned here “Duh Priorities” online gambling is at the top of someone’s “hit list” .
Now I’m sure it’s not a big suprise that the US goverment is against online gambling to most but it seems they have some allies people probably wouldn’t have thought of ….
eBay Invites Internet Regulation, Backs Online Gambling Ban
The article goes on to explain why thing think eBay is doing this but to me, it’s a big duh move all the way around! Regulation of this nature shouldn’t be so easily accepted just to “make political friends” or for “self serving business models”
Things like this can change the web’s future a lot more easily then some might think. Pay attention to what bills are being presented and let your feelings be known! It might be the only thing that “saves” the internet as we presently know it.
