Well, with murder, rape, hard drug use, robbery, sexual abuse and so on, it figures that someplace would decide online poker playing fit right into that classification of crime.. right? (At least with a Duh perspective on things!!!)

Sure enough folks, the state of WAshington has decided that online poker playing should be classified as a felony. What kind of BS is that???

Washington State Makes It a Felony to Play Poker Online

A “Class C felony” means a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

For playing online poker ….. 5 years ?? A person would think that there was plenty of other crimes being comitted that would actually be important and I for one, DO NOT think online poker playing is one of them!

Any fisherman can tell you a horror story or two after fishing for a few years. Everything ranging from “that time a big snapping turtle was on the line” to “the fish was so big it pulled the pole right out of my hands” is told in any group of fishermen talking.

Sometimes though, others have to tell the story for the victim of “the time it went bad” such as below:

Now bad things can happen but I would have thought at one point or another the guy would have thought about letting go of the pole himself! Duh actions can unfortunatly lead to serious injury or even worse as above. Hopefully those that enjoy fishing never have to tell a “bad fishing day story” wish any fatalties and can limit their own horror stories to “the day the can of worms got knocked over into the lake”.
