Just a quick observation, is it now a requirement to be involved in something illegal when you have a political career?

Everywhere you look another official is being investigated for one thing or another!

Some things never change huh? It seems that some folks, when they don’t get their way, wants to take everything to court. While I don’t agree with everything the courts say by a long shot, I think they hit the nail on the head this time

What’s your opinion on this? Did the courts get it right or do you think they screwed this one up?

Personally I feel that there are way to many lawsuits out there that are nothing more than somone being pissed about something and they can’t do anything about it so bam…. file a lawsuit.

Police: Teen’s Kidnapping Story a Hoax

Here we have a 16 year old girl that makes a fake abduction 911 call while she goes and “spends some time alone”. Here’s the duh part though…. what’s going to happen to her? Here’s the quote:

Kelsey could be charged with filing a false police report, a misdemeanor, Police Chief Lee Bynum said. He said police will turn over reports to the county’s juvenile prosecutor to decide. FBI agent Jeff Lanza said he didn’t foresee any federal charges. Authorities would not say Thursday what motivated the girl to report a fake abduction.

“That’s between her and her family,” Bynum said. He said answering such questions might require him to reveal medical information that he’s not qualified to discuss

They actually issued an amber alert for this kid and it sure sounds like she’s going to get a slap on the wrist if anything doesn’t it? Perhaps kids need to learn that there is always a price to pay for your actions so choose those actions wisely!
