Where’s the duh in the story below? Perhaps the fact that many do not seem to understand your average vehicle is way overpriced!!

Do folks even realize that a few thousand dollars at the very least is added ionto the price of cars before they are sold in the US? Why you ask …. because they expect the car to need a few thousand dollars worth of repairs while under warranty. How’s that for a kick in the teeth so to speak?

Well, here’s a good one for you folks….

 Army misses recruiting goal again

For the first time in years, the army is having a serious shortage of recruits. Of course lines like the following from this story migiht hold a small clue for those that need it.

 U.S. troops are dying at a rate of two a day in Iraq, more than two years after President Bush declared that major combat operations had ended

Now I’m not sure about all of you but that does seem to me that it would make those that were considering joining do a double take on that thought. Maybe that’s just the part of me looking for the DUH in this story though.

Have you ever though if you were prepared for a homeland war? Things like who to contact, where to go should be right at the top of the list as well as some sort of protection possibly… correct?
