Being that the net is the utmost source of information within this household, finding a good news site is worth it’s weight in gold!

Now while I agree that young children should not be exposed to anything like this let’s really think about who should have to make sure the computer is safe to begin with.

Is it the internet service provider?

Is  it the webmaster building a site that might get visited?

How about the computer companies?

Now while more than a few of these options might seem somewhat feasible, it’s just plain a case of, it doesn’t work that way. Anyone that thinks differently is a proud supporter of DUH itself (even if they don’t know it which actually qualifies them that much more)

The only logical person to ensure a computers performance is the user themselves! If you go on the net, you should have a good virus protection program, an updated operating system as well as software, and a wide variety of other tools depending on the situation/application. Ignorance  itself very rarely is a good reason for breaking a law and doesn’t serve as a useful excuse to get out of any punishment. The internet and computers are or at least should be the same way. If a person doesn’t know how to use something, maybe they should try something unusual like studying about it first before hand huh?
